This explains how Playthroughs handles personal data. It will be revised before any analytics, marketing, payments or third-party sharing is added.

Information we collect

Account details such as your email address, username, display name, avatar, biography and authentication records.
Content you choose to add, including playthroughs, sessions, ratings, reviews, lists, comments, tags, collection entries and profile activity.
Social and safety data such as follows, blocks and likes.
Reports you submit about other people's content, including the category you chose, any details you wrote and the content the report pointed at. Reports are visible to the developer, never to the person you reported.
Moderation decisions taken on your account or content, including what was removed or reset, whether the account was suspended and a short internal note explaining why.
Technical data needed to run the service, including device, browser, IP address, request logs, diagnostics and web sign-in cookies.
Migration data you provide when importing from another service, including imported games, statuses, ratings, dates and notes.

To provide Playthroughs, keep your account signed in, sync your activity across devices and show your profile and content to the audiences you choose.
To operate safety features, read and act on reports, investigate abuse, protect the service and enforce the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
To understand whether the app is working correctly, diagnose issues and improve reliability.
To contact you about account, security or service updates. Marketing messages, if introduced, will require a separate opt-in.

On web, Playthroughs uses essential HttpOnly sign-in cookies so your browser can keep or resume an authenticated session.
Without Remember me, the sign-in cookie lasts for the current browser session. With Remember me, the cookie is kept for up to 60 days.
These cookies are used only for authentication and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Public or follower-visible content may be shown to other users according to your profile and content settings.
We may use service providers for hosting, storage, email, analytics, moderation or infrastructure. They should only process data for Playthroughs.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or to investigate abuse or security incidents.

We keep account and content data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the platform.
You can request account deletion or data access. Some records may be retained for security, moderation, audit or legal reasons where permitted.

You can edit your profile, manage what you publish and choose whether web sign-in persists by using Remember me.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export or object to certain processing of your personal data.
